Brain broken. Things due in the next three or four days:
- a defence of Scissor Sisters from the charge of being "rockists", as claimed by Chris in a recent txt message.
- musings on the first few episodes of season 1 of Six Feet Under (I now co-own a boxset; I am a lucky boy in many ways), probably leading into discussion of the series as a whole thus far.
- the previously mentioned musings on Sarah Jones v. "hip-pop", including a dangerous invocation of the idea of pro- and anti-sex feminism (can open, worms everywhere).
That's one a day over the next few days. The week after: I will probably have to buy the Kelis album, on the basis of having heard 'Keep It Down'.
